Under Monolith's creative direction, we brought Gimmick Studio's world into Webflow — a bilingual build carrying custom GSAP and Lottie-driven type, and a CMS engineered to hold a studio's worth of motion without ever slowing down.
Gimmick Studio doesn't sit still, and neither does its work. The Montreal-based motion house has spent years building a reputation on controlled chaos — animation, live action, type, and character work for the likes of Porsche, Meta, Discord, and Coors Light
A brand this kinetic can't be served by a static page. Every project on the site is carried by video, not thumbnails; which meant architecting a CMS that could hold a growing, tag-filtered library of high-resolution reels without the grid buckling under its own weight. The headlines needed to move with the same energy as the work they introduce, so we built custom GSAP sequences choreographed against Lottie files, turning type into something closer to performance than typography.
The final build reads less like a website and more like the studio's own reel: loud where it needs to be, disciplined everywhere else, and built to keep moving long after the first scroll.
